Arturia minilab ableton setup11/20/2023 However, it doesn't make sense that it would override every other sound. That would make sense, since it would render the program useless to someone who pirated it. I'm wondering if this is an issue with the license I have. It seems to override every other sound being produced. For example, iTunes will show that it's playing a song, but all I hear is the noise. When AnalogLab is running AND the noise is present, no other sound producing program/application will make noise. txt files named "InstantMappings-HowTo" and "UserConfiguration." The script from Arturia is also called "UserConfiguration" so do I just replace the current one with the Arturia one? I don't want to replace it and then royally screw everything up.Īlso, I booted up the AnalogLab app another time and the noise went away and I could play with the controller.for about 30 seconds. Okay, so I got to the User Remote Scripts folder but there's no "MiniLab" folder. Of course I had to enable the hidden files. Okay, I know that was long-winded, but I will be eternally grateful if someone could work this out for me. So when I go into the preferences of Live and try to select the "controller platform," I can't select the MiniLab. I have Windows 8, so I have no idea where to put the script, so I can't use the plugin/VST, OR use MiniLab as just a regular controller for other VSTs I have. The other problem I have is that Arturia makes it very clear where to put the script file for Ableton Live 8 and 9 to use AnalogLab as a plugin/VST, but only for Windows XP and 7. However, AnalogLab still won't play anything when I use the controller. I reinstalled AnalogLab and the MCC, so the firmware version is now 1.0.0.0 and the MCC recognizes the controller. So I uninstalled everything and started over. The current firmware version read "0.0.0.0" and I couldn't use it to control the AnalogLab standalone app and the MCC said that it didn't recognize the controller. It wasn't updating (the progress bar just stayed at 0%), so I cancelled it and then nothing worked. Then, I realized that there was a firmware update for the MIDI Control Center (MCC), so I went to the Arturia website and downloaded it. I tested out AnalogLab as a standalone app (not as a plugin/VST) with the MiniLab and had no issues. I installed everything that the instructions told me to install. I joined because I bought an Arturia MiniLab and am already having issues with it.
